Idle-Free Ogden

What is Idle Free Month?

In partnership with the Weber-Morgan Health Department, Ogden School District, and Weber State University, the Ogden City Council and Mayor Mike Caldwell declared February, 2022 as “Idle-Free Month” in Ogden City. Together, these community partners will engage in an educational effort to encourage residents to limit their vehicle emissions with the hope to develop air-saving habits that last year round.

Small Actions. Big Difference.

Small changes, like consolidating trips, using mass transit, avoiding drive-thrus and turning off your vehicle at schools, banks, parking lots and train crossings, can make a significant difference in our air quality and even save you money.
