The Ogden Police Department Traffic Unit consists of six officers and one sergeant. They are responsible for enforcement of traffic laws and ordinances, fatal accident investigations, accident reconstruction, and the investigation of Hit and Run cases. Traffic complaints generated by citizens are also handled by this unit. The Traffic Unit also handles numerous Community Events including: Parades, Community Marches, Bike and Foot races, Dignitary and Funeral Motorcades.
