Effective Communication Plan

We are committed to ensuring all members of the public with disabilities have an effective means to communicate with the City. Upon request Ogden City will furnish appropriate auxiliary aids and services to afford individuals with disabilities an equal opportunity to participate in and enjoy the benefits of City programs, services, and activities. Auxiliary aids and services may include sign language interpreters, transcription services, written materials, and telecommunication devices for those with hearing impairments along with readers and large print materials for those with visual impairments. Read the entire Effective Communication Plan (PDF) policy.

Language Assistance Plan

We are committed to making City services, programs, and activities available to everyone regardless of language barriers. Based on data collected from a variety of sources, one in three citizens of Ogden may be Limited English Proficient (LEP). The City's Language Assistance Plan (PDF) outlines how we are improving access to City services, programs, and activities for LEP individuals.
