To support Colorismo en la Comunidad Latine, an event at Historic Union Station addressing colorism and discrimination in the Latinx community. The event includes panel discussions, bomba dance workshops, and performances with live bomba music and dance. Requested funds would support travel, accommodations, per diem, and artist fees of two Puerto Rican artists; as well as artists fees for bomba dance workshops, a live performance, and a Colorism panel. Requested funds would also support venue, marketing, and documentation consts, the purchase of new instruments, costumes, and volunteer t-shirts.
