In 1920, the United States government ratified the 19th Amendment by changing its constitution to give women the right to vote. Today, 100 years later, we celebrate the 19th Amendment as “a testament to, and a product of, America’s founding ideals: the never-ending quest for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”.
